OUR STORY

Karuna Trust has been in operation since 2009, but it wasn’t until 2015 that were able to registered as a charity organization. Our main center of operations are in New Delhi, India but we have done missionary work in Southern parts of India (Andhra Pradesh, Chennai and Karnataka) and in Northern parts of India (Orissa, Bihar, Delhi).

We have been working for families (mainly children) who inhabit the impoverished urban communities known as the Slums. Our team is made up of truly compassionate individuals who have a love for the Lord and helping those in need. We even have a few youth workers who volunteer their time to help enrich the lives of the many individuals they come in contact with.

Karuna Trust has provided services in the following areas to help the less fortunate by…

​

• holding worship services to help educate others and praise our Lord God

• helping children by supplying them with food, school supplies, books and counseling

• providing assistance with school tuition through financial aid (whenever possible)

• hosting weekly arts and crafts classes for the local children and youth

• providing specialized aid to victims of sexual abuse

• assisted government organizations like CWC (what is CWC?)

• helps some schools of Northern part of India (how? financially?)
